IT IS A LEGAL CONTRACT, READ IT BEFORE SIGNING IT!!

I understand that serious accidents occur during bicycle rides; and that participants in bicycle rides occasionally sustain serious and or mortal injuries, and or property damage as a consequence thereof. I know and understand the risks of riding bicycles and bicycle rides and events. In consideration of my participation in this event, I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damages because of death, personal injury, or property damage which I may have, or which may hereafter accrue to me as a result of my participation in said event. This release is intended to discharge in advance the planners, the sponsors, land owners, the ride organizers, and any and all involved municipalities or other public entities and their respective agents and or employees, from and against any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in said event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above. I agree to assume these risks and to hold harmless all of the persons or entities mentioned above who might otherwise be liable to me or my heirs or assigns for damages and this waiver, release and assumption of risk be binding on my heirs and assigns.

If the rider is UNDER 18 years of age, a parent/guardian must sign the following and provide a signed medical release statement in case of accident.
As the parent and/or guardian of the above named minor, I hereby give my permission for this minor to participate in this ride and event and further agree, individually and on the behalf of this minor or ward to assume all the responsibility of the terms above.

  • the ride begins at 8:00 AM CST
  • begins at the Cowboy Trailhead in Valentine, Nebraska
  • will cover 100 K (~62 miles)
  • of Cowboy Trail, country road, single-, double-, and no-track surface
  • my fee covers the lunch served from 2-3 PM CST
  • I will never forget this ride as long as I live, and
• have told all my friends so they can come too!
