It's true. Most of YD country water is pretty tame. The other 1% is either generally unknown, or simply not considered navigable by tradition craft. Of course, traditional, in this context refers to horseback travel. Let's just say that poly- ethylene watercraft (or inflatables) are redefining navigability on the Snake and Niobrara Rivers. Here's a few examples of riverbed needing redefinition. Please note: BYORT (Bring Your Own Rescue Team).
