Rope Trade-In Program

Our Mission:

• Put retired climbing rope back to work on farms and ranches.
• Keep retired climbing rope out of landfills, incinerators, and closets.
• Provide climbers with excellent value in ropes combined with an ecologically sound rope recycling program.

How Does it work?

• You: Select the new rope model you want to buy and complete your on-line purchase.
• You: Print a copy of your receipt.
• You: Mail a copy of your receipt along with your retired rope (1 per purchase)
• We: Confirm trade-in value
• We: Subtract 10 cents per foot from the new rope price shown on your receipt.
• We: Subtract $10 (that's right) from your order total to cover your shipping costs.
• We: Process your payment
• We: Ship the new rope you requested

How Long Does it Take?

• On Your End: You will be able to complete you on-line rope purchase in approximately 5 minutes.
• On Your End: How fast can you pack up an old rope?
• In Between: Shipping time of your trade-in rope is variable depending on the shipper.
• On Our End: We process your trade-in and ship your new rope within 24 hours of receiving your order except for when orders are placed just before weekends or holiday periods. :
• In Between: We use standard U.S. Parcel Post for your new rope because it is the least expensive. You may specify a faster mode if quicker delivery is critical.

Rules and Restrictions

• No more than 1 rope may be traded-in towards credit on a new rope.
• Shredded, badly damaged rope will be rejected. We will ship it back to you at your expense.
• Frequent traders (more than 1 purchase per month) will be given an additional 2% discount on each rope purchase (computed after trade-in discount).
