At a mere 12 oz. the TerraFix 406 GPS I PLB easily stores in backpacks, waist packs or a pocket. Also comes standard with a sturdy rubber holster to attach the PLB to backpack webbing, PFDs, belts or climbing harnesses. All ACR PLBs send a personalized signal to satellites in orbit telling Search & Rescue; who you are, where you are, and that you are in a life-threatening emergency.
