Yucca Dune Country has many options for the small boat sailor, but
none quite so spectacular as
Merritt Reservoir. Located 26 miles South
of Valentine on Highway 16C, this freshwater reservoir provides a
primitive shoreline that is covered with clean, white Sandhills sand.
Two deep-water launching ramps are available, along with several
campgrounds. |
