Approximately 2 miles East of Valentine, the Cowboy Trail passes 150 feet
above the Niobrara River via a .25 mile long, converted steel and wood
railroad trestle. The view from the decked bridge is spectacular to the
North and South, with panoramas of the River and distant bluffs and sandhills.
