The Air Tech is a light fully T-rated axe, featuring a hot-forged ChroMoly steel head (the same used on Air Tech Evolution); trustworthy for both casual and professional use. In fact, Air Tech received the Guide’s Choice award from the American Alpine Institute in 2002. A natural rubber grip covers two hand-widths of the 7000-series alloy shaft.
