The Thor is an alpine hammer, not designed for use on extended big wall routes. The hot-forged ChroMoly head will stand up to years of abuse. The pick’s substantial beak easily hooks the eyes of pitons, and the tall rocker provides a good fulcrum for levering out recalcitrant pins. The “cleaner ‘biner” hole is bit narrow and requires a Neutrino or old style Bonatti D. A retractable nut tool is hidden in the alloy shaft. A natural rubber grip provides some sticky texture and absorbs vibration.
