The Boa creates a car-top bike rack mount that does not depend on the presence of a wheel
tray. It consists of steel and injection molded components: the wheel tray, and the fork
block. The wheel tray mounts directly to the cross bar and grips the wheel using a micro-
adjust strap that will accept a wide range of wheel styles and sizes. The fork block can
be mounted to either round or rectangular cross-bars and uses a long-throw quick-release
skewer to simplify attachment at the fork. An optional SKS locking core can be added to
complicate theft.
