The Gunwale brackets are sold in a set of four and permit the secure roof-top hauling of
canoes on an existing set of Yakima towers and crossbars (sold separately). These
injection molded components attach to the cross-bar, preventing shifting and providing
cushioned support for the gunwale due to the "L" shaped design. The included straps are used to hold the canoe against the brackets. Bow and stern-lines (sold separately) are
recommended to resist shifting of longer craft. All metal components are Stainless-steel for corrosion
resistance.
