An opaque, plastic 3" x 5" card for avalanche forecasting and
advanced snow study. This card has 1 & 2 mm grids for identifying
grain types within the snowpack. Back of the card is a quick
description of how to dig a hasty pit, & definitions of the two
main types of snow, ET & TG. A necessity for profiling snow pack
relative to grain type, hardness, temp., etc.
