The Yakima Powderhound can handle up to 4 pair of skis (including
shaped skis) or 2 snowboards when used in conjunction with your existing
Yakima roof system. The powderhound features a easy-to-operate, push-button
release to open the rack, a ratcheting closure that adjusts to securely
clamp your skis, a SkiLift adapter for increased binding clearance, and the
ability to rotate the rack to reduce wind drag of your roof-line. Once closed,
the Powderhound cannot be removed from your crossbars. The addition of Yakima
SKS lock cores (sold separately) completes the security package for your boards
